I’ve been a fan of 67-72 Darts for as long as my Dad has been telling stories about why I should be, but there’s something about Dodge’s Demon that I always found slightly unsettling. It wasn’t the name so much as the shape that didn’t quite present so well.

is making me change my mind.
Like them or leave them, the vinyl top adds a nice contrast to both the color of this car and the awkward rear quarter-panel to front-end size ratio by adding a pleateu to the broad c-pillar.
Also, this interior:
This is an all-original 340 GSS car that has been restored from the frame-up, despite having less than 20,000 original miles. It also comes with all of the orignal paperwork that Grand Spaulding Dodge included upon initial delivery.
Check out more photos and other cool items included with this new 45 year-old car that costs more than a brand new new car.

I will say that’s an excessive amount of hemi-orange overspray on the exhaust manifold that I can see.

I’ve said this many times, and I’ll say it again. The first manufacturer who offers a new crew cab truck with two plaid bench seats, gets my money. I LOVE plaid interiors.

That’s the way they came. The manifolds were bolted up before the blocks were painted.

Wow, it even comes with factory overspray. That’s amazing.

They replicated it. Some people get picky about it. http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/ubb…

With all due respect to the art of replicating factory oversight - that’s hilarious.

Well some oddities are quaint, that is not. What they had Bob with a spray can after a few beers painting?

I would most likely be in line right behind you!

It is standard part of Concours judging. The Vette guys are the worst.

Never said I agreed with the practice.

Why is the air cleaner’s cover backwards? I'd imagine there's a reason, but I can't think what it would possibly be.
